KERRY O'BRINE FASHION - YEAR 2 FASHION
PROJECTS
Tristan Webber
Tristan Webber is a well known fashion designer and guest lecturer at
Ravensborne College of Fashion. He introduced year 2 fashion students
to his personal approach to designing women's fashion.
He approachs his collections by taking a subject and using 3 categories
to investigate and generate information and ideas as a starting point
to his designs.
The categories are atmosphere, linear and 3D.
Kerry chose anatomy as her subject matter.
She went to an old operating theatre. She researched artists like Jenny
Saville and Cindy Sherman who have interested her in the way they look
at and depict the female form.
Left is an illustration of three of six designs for a collection inspired
by anatomy and using Tristan Webber's technique for generating fashion
designs.
Go to 2,
atmosphere,
linear
and 3D
to see boards displaying the other illustrations of this project and Kerry's
investigations in these three areas of design.
