KERRY O'BRINE FASHION - YEAR 2 FASHION PROJECTS

Leather Outer Garments

Inspired by a body measuring device, (see linear board) the leather 'skeleton outer garments' are secured with a screw fastening and eyelet arrangement, adjustable like a belt. These outer garments are intended to pull in the fabric beneath to create different shapes.

Halter neck top in Goergette with body cross section print.

Trousers - pink salmon satin.

Dark brown and light brown leather 'skeleton outer garments'.

Outer garment is a orange chiffon fabric.

The satin shirt dress with dissection print has a chestnut brown leather outer garment.

This illustration shows a printed dress - a 'blood stained effect' dyed silk jersey fabric with cream leather straps integral to the garment.
